Interview to Economist Santiago Niño Becerra

Santiago Niño Becerra is a professor of economics at Ramon Llul University in Barcelona. He has written many articles, essays and books about the financial crisis in Spain. In fact, he predicted the disaster in 2006 when he announced “high-debts will cause a crash in 2010 similar to the one of 1929”Cosmopolita Scotland has spoken to the professor about the evolution and characteristics of the Spanish economy in the past 50 years, as well as about job insecurity (1) and its links to the migration process and the stability of the country.

Reality versus fiction at CinemaAttic showcase this Friday at Summerhall, Edinburgh

The platform for Spanish, Iberian and Latin-American cinema in Scotland (CinemaAttic) will be back in Summerhall (Edinburgh) this Friday at 8pm. The programme will explore the relationship between reality and fiction throughout 5 short movies; two of them, Safari and A Whole Future Together, were nominated for this year Spanish Film Awards (Los Premios Goya).

Realidad y ficción en el programa de CinemaAttic este viernes en Summerhall, Edimburgo

CinemaAttic, una plataforma de cine español y latinoamericano, vuelve a Edimburgo el 20 de Marzo a las 20:00 en la sala Summerhall para explorar la relación entre realidad y ficción. El programa contará con cinco cortometrajes, dos de ellos, Safari y Todo un futuro juntos, nominados a los Premios Goya de este año.
