(11/07/2016) Brexit: What happens next?

University of Dundee

The United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union has rocked every aspect of the country, with shockwaves reverberating around the world.

Things have seldom seemed less certain. Is this a bold new opportunity for the UK to reassert its position in the world, or could it lead to financial and social catastrophe?

In addition, the small matter of a second referendum on Scottish independence has been raised.

So what happens next for the UK and Scotland? The Courier’s panel of experts will discuss exactly that on Monday, July 11.

The panel:

  • Sir Pete Downes, Principal and Vice Chancellor of Dundee University
  • Professor Matt Qvortrup, Professor of Applied Political Science and International Relations at Coventry University
  • Kieran Andrews, Political Editor of The Courier
  • Alex Bell, Columnist of The Courier

Location: The Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa (Dundee).

It runs from 12-2.30pm and tickets are £20+VAT. Tickets include buffet lunch with tea and coffee.

To book, go to www.thecourierbriefings.co.uk.
