The X Collective,an Edinburgh photography collective, is exhibiting the works of six young photographers from Edinburgh. Their six works present six visions, exploring the role and representations of women in contemporary society. By beginning with the question “What is a woman?”, each work tackles the theme in a distinct way by using different perspectives like sex, gender or social constructs. In addition to the exhibition, the collective intends to create an interactive hub for one week, hosting workshops and talks.
The raised funds are going to be used to pay the expenses necessary to fulfil the project. Further information here.
